For AU stories, I would recommend Dragon's Tail, by weasleywench, and Big Chicago by samaelthekind. BC isn't finished yet, but at 34 chapters it's still a fairly substantial read. There's another absolutely fabulous fic called Paying the Piper by Sansa, but, sadly, I don't think she has it posted anymore.

I know there are others, but that's what came to mind right away. I'll let you know if I think of any more!

I'm really sorry for replying late. And yes there was more to this post but I removed it. I just thought that I couldn't really convey what I truly wanted to say, and I doubt that anybody would care about my random BS. But mainly I don't feel needed to be understood. :-)

Thank you very much for the opportunity to let me create something I truly wanted to make. I didn't know how much I wanted to make it happen until now. Having said that, though, Left Unsaid was inspired by you, and was for you.

I'm going to reply to your lovely comment at the comm. Sorry for the delay - I've been obsessed with reading original slash lately, and after that I have Wicked Gentlemen to read!!! It arrived yesterday - and the shipping cost the publisher almost as much as the book itself. :-)

I thought this was beautiful and heartbreaking, and I'm so glad you drew it. I have a hard time with character death, but I loved this.
