I'm so glad that you enjoyed the art and that the disturbing content hadn't turned you away. I'm also happy to hear that you agree with the music - to me that clip made me think of "game over" music in video games, and I think that's the reason I chose it for These Five Years.
Maybe #16 was hard to paint, but I think it's fantastic! I suppose an artist always sees where they went wrong, or what they can improve on, but .... this is another of those pieces that I just look at and look at and keep seeing new things. Draco's position of surrender and Harry's utter dominance is just so... I don't even have a word for what that is....! Thanks again for posting them all.
I'm happy that you liked #16 - I wrestled with it and still think that it didn't look quite right. Hearing that you liked it makes me feel a lot better about this piece. And yes, I loved the pose, too, even though it has given me such a headache.
Glad that you enjoyed the watercolor art. It makes all the time and effort worthwhile.
I absolutely love this art of the kiss. Draco looks enraptured, consumed by the sensations of the kiss and being there with Harry. The emotions reach out from the painting.
Would it be alright if I make an icon of this painting? Or any of the other ones as well? I always give credit to the artist in the Icon's uploaded section and a link to them in my credits at my graphic LJ. You can take a look at the icon I'm using as an example and my LJ if you 'd like. Thank you :)
#16 is quite captivating. I think the dark/light contrast is what does it. Plus I like how the arms/hands are long.
#17 is my favorite piece. Draco looks to me like he's beyond thinking there is any hope in the world left at this point - tired, defeated and crying exhausted tears. Harry mistakes this for acceptance. His eyes are a bit open but he's not seeing what's in front of him.
Thank you very much ♥ #16 has given me such headache, esp the balance between the dark and white. I'm glad that the hard work paid back.
Harry mistakes this for acceptance. I like your interpretation a lot. In my head, their ship is base on miscommunication, and what you said about #17 just hit the nail. Yes, Harry was blind by his own evil at that moment. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on that pic. :-)

Feel free to iconise any of my art. There's no problem at all.
