I find it interesting you don't like #9 & #11 much and considered them rushed. To me, Harry's eyes seem pretty empty/shallow. Which conveys to me that he really isn't thinking of Draco's well-being.... just >>blank thinking of himself, maybe? And Draco has his back to Harry in them as well. Draco obviously needs to shield himself from Harry here.
Yeah, Harry is totally not himself at that moment. He's immersed in his own thoughts, whatever he's thinking. Just like my state of mind when I worked on #9 and #11 - all I thought about was to get these done and over with. :-P
Glad to hear that you liked #10. I quite like the way it turned out too! :-)
#9 and #11 -- especially #9 -- do feel sketchier than most of them, but I wonder if part of the reason why you don't like them is also the colors? The green and brown feel like bruises to me, which is appropriate for the story you were conveying, but also sort of depressing on their own.
These do have a bit more of a sketchy feel to them, at least for you. :) But I don't think that's bad, I like anything from rough sketches to very detailed work, if done well. :) I think the mood of them is very appropriate for the story you were telling. Sort of sombre, detached. I really like the tenth slide as well. :) I think I like it more when I try to ignore the context though. Because the theme of dub-con is a bit squicky to me and I see Draco as reeling a bit from what's happened in the tenth one. And it's hard to like something when you are not very fond of the theme. But if I look at it as apart from it, it's a lovely painting of Draco that's being thoughtful or sleepy and just getting up. :)
