Hm, well, actually I think you've done better with hands in your more recent work; the H/D from 21 January and the Harry from 8 February, for instance, and the Quidditch One-on-One as well. (The Quidditch set also has a lot of really nice and varied compositions.)
Though I do very much like this piece as well. The way the background is done both emphasizes the verticals (implicitly making Draco look thinner, worn down) and of course picks up the angry colors of the Mark. His pose and expression effectively convey the pain and shame of what he's having to do. ♥ as ever!
I took a look at his hands and, yeah, you're probably right. I seem to have a better grasp of drawing hands in my recent work. So glad to hear that I've improved on something that I always find difficult.
I remember this piece was quite a challenge to draw, and I wasn't very confident with the result, to tell the truth, especially with the way I did the background and the mark. So I'm pretty happy to hear that you liked them both, and that Draco's expression fit in the story. Thanks very much ♥
