Wow, it's been a long time since I've cooked something new, or at least since I've recorded it.

Tonight we had friends over for dinner and tried:

Is the former of those from "Sauces" by James Peterson? I make his duck ragù often.

Not that I know of. I came across it in the latest issue of Fine Cooking.

But I would have to alternate the strawberries for something else. Have never tried to make panna cotta, though so I can't offer thoughts. (Growing up in Gloucester though, it was around alot)

Yeah--Alice breaks out when she eats strawberries, so she had blueberries on hers. Straight balsamic is also fantastic.
