A Fine-Cooking Thanksgiving (New Recipes #43-47)

Fine Cooking had a lot of appealing recipes in their Thanksgiving issue, so I chose several of them. They require registration, so if you don't want to do that, but would really like any particular recipe, let me know and I'll get it to you.

It was an incredible meal! I loved the stuffing, and the cranberry pumpkin bake, but the cake was the pinnacle of nutty goodness! Thank you ever so much for all the thought and work you put into making our holiday so special! You are made of awesome.

It was notably awesome, I have to say. It was a fun chance to share with my family some of the trying-new-things work I've been doing in the kitchen.

And today I made turkey noodle soup and we had that and sandwiches for lunch!

I have to say that it was. Over an hour late and not perfect, but everyone was very pleasant about the delays and I think the cake, in particular, made everyone walk away happy :)
