This was a case of necessity: we are suddenly inundated with vast quantities of sliced ham, which is not something we eat much of in the course of normal events. I stuck pretty closely to the recipe in How to Cook Everything, adding pepper to the egg/milk mixture and putting some mustard between the ham and cheese. Served with more of the enormous vat of baby greens that we're working through, it made a nice, light supper. And Alice continues to love pork products--once she got a taste of ham, she kept asking for more and more of it.
