New Kindle!

I got a new Kindle today as a Christmas present and I love it! I have no Idea how to work all of the things on it though and it took me half an hour to figure out how to turn the predictive auto correct thingy off. XD ( Read more... )

That's really great. To convert the stories to .mobi (the format you need for kindle) save them first in Word as .htm (website format), then add them to calibre and convert to mobi.

And The 'auto correct thingy' was the first thing I eliminated as well.

With the stories - I always do it the way Potzi told you, because you somehow lose all pictures when you download directly from AO3.

I think it's called the Kindle Fire or something like that. :D I love to read in bed, so this is perfect for me and all the extra bits on it seem quite fun too. :)

The predictive auto correct was really annoying me, every time I typed in my username it changed it to something else. It was so annoying so I turned it off. XD
