Well, as you asked so nicely...of course :)
I hope you find something that you like, which considering there's a bit of everything possibly! I seem to be turning them out quite quickly at the moment - which will probably crash and burn by the end of the year ;)
I see from your icon that you like Spuffy?

Whee! I'm really enjoying this! I liked the POV & time-line switcheroos. It worked out quite nicely. I always like to read different authors accounts of what happened in that there alley. Yours worked out quite well.

Of course, the Spuffywhore in me is shouting "Lookee!!! They're together, and Buffy's all smiley, and staring into Spike's eyes and what not!" I just can't keep that part of my brain quiet, even when the pairing so clearly reads Spike/Angel. Hee!

What I like about Spangel, is that beneath all the petty arguments and oneupmanship, they are family. No matter how much your family can annoy, torment, or belittle you, they are important simply for the fact that they are there. You know, someone to witness your life with you. And that's what is really important in some ways. That someone knows your stories, lived them with you.

Gunn had slapped his back, thinking the gift a wanted extravagance, promising golf lessons and extended lunch meetings as a reward, the last of his Wolfram and Hart brain-injection ( ... )

Yes, it's always difficult to judge how realistic you should be, how much detail you should go into and how that can take away from the rest of the story. But, I was intrigued to think how Spike would cope completely on his own so...

LOL! neither can I But Angel and Spike do share a bond and that's very important!

You should absolutely go and read peasant_'s latest essay on Drusilla if that's how you feel. Absolutely!
That someone knows your stories, lived them with you.Yeah, that's pretty much what I was going for. The name Liam means so much to him, that no-one else can possibly fathom. Except Spike, who's shared the experience of ( ... )

Okay, I'll head over that way. :)

I have an embarrassing admission to make and that was I was listening to the BBC Children in Need version. Dunno if you know it.

Nope, I've never heard it. Although now that you mention it, I want to!

Hope you enjoy the essay.

YaY, great fic, darling!!! Loved how you described the battle in the alley. Glad Gunn survived despite the bets ;-).

About Angel, I always thought that being shansued wouldn't be exactly all what he was waiting for. Because, well, he had that hero thing being part of what he was and as a human he kinda lost the trail. He doesn't know who he is and what he must do anymore. Poor guy, he is so confused. About he and Buffy, well, both changed a lot over the years and it would be impossible be like they were back in the day. So, I guess friendship is the most believable thing between them now.

And, gahhhhhhhhh, Spike!!! Gotta love to see how it will be now with him around. Buffy seems so excited seeing him again and Angel, well, I guess Spike's presence will add more confusion to Angel's life, hehehe.

I'm right here waiting for more ;-).

*smoochies*

Oh I'm so glad you liked it - yay. Thanks so much for your lovely comment. And of course Gunn survives - always ;)

Yes exactly! I just wondered if he really would want to be human; there are so many limitations and the readjustments would take a long time to get used to. Plus getting used to the shelf-life. yourlibrarian and I were wondering what he was like as Liam, whether he was just as moody as Angel. Of course, I don't think he'd stop being Angel, being the hero, being the guy who always tries and does his best, I just wonder if he'd feel like he deserved it!
There will be more Spangel action later on - but they have issues to sort out too. Poor Angel indeed!
::smoochies back::

I loved the idea of Angel's noticing his heartbeat and that making it beat faster - beautiful, and very real.

But sadly, ineluctably that could never happen.
Noooo! :( Taking a leaf from Fred's book: things are only ineluctable if you don't go up to them, look them in the eye, and say, "You're eluctable!" I want Wesley back :(

All at once he heard a terrible cacophony
That's a lovely turn of phrase.

“Yeah, so I agreed to effulgent. Doesn’t mean I want the killer light show every time!” he shouted to the sky.
Too! Good!

And the champagne cork in the rock cave - so evocative.

Besides, his memory, so elusive in general, was devious enough that he could still hear the way his father snapped out the word when he was angry, which lead inevitably to the way his father’s neck had snapped between his fingers.
Eek. Brilliant.

And the line-up of lovers: Darla, on reflection, was infinitely the better in the sack, anyway. Drusilla became a mutinous memory of pain and dominance. Spike… Ee, you tease! Tantalising ( ... )

Yeah me too. I mean he'd have all these issues that would just take forever to get used to. Poor bloke!
Ee, you tease! Tantalising :)
LOL! Well, there was that one time...
I'm glad you picked up on the light show comment. I mean when William asked for effulgence, I'm pretty sure he didn't expect to get it literally 122 years later!
Please gush, it makes me blush. I'm just glad people are enjoying the stuff I'm writing. Goodness knows how much I enjoy reading and viewing the fic and art others produced ::looks at you:: But I must admit I was just tickled to find the Spangel muse. Just tickled ;)
Just posted more in any case.
