Me too! I have to sit up front of I'll be too busy watching the people around me to pay any attention to the instructor. Sometimes I feel like such a kiss-ass for doing that, though.
I don't (feel like a kiss-ass). AND I have noticed that you can do more what you want in the very first places than in the back rows (this especially in high school)! But it's true, if it's not a special lecture or meeting I'd choose the second to fifth row I think - speaking of frontals, then it depends on the size of the room and how the seats are disposed. Anyways I'm a bit of a know-it-all, so if I have to take part in a lesson that I like, I wanna be able to be heard! lol
