Well, there's always Fins, which is all about those landsharks fishin' for a hottie, getting drunk off their ass, and failing miserably. . . But I don't know if there's any provision for selling pens.

But damn, I'd go out there to take them up on the fishing and margaritas. Who knows, it could lead to a whole big adventure :)

that is truly the strangest telemarketing ploy I have ever heard of. If this happens again, you really need to have a cow bell right there and clang in the phone while yelling "more cow bell baby!" and playing "don't fear the reaper" in the background ;-)

Here is my weird bit of coincidence/synchronicity for the day:
I just at this very moment had a really odd bit of synchonicity happen, the kind that gives you shivers. Earlier today I had to send a letter to a woman with the last name Geoghegan, which I thought was an odd name and remarked upon it to myself. I have never seen that one before.
So, just now, I'm sitting here looking at this city directory from 1855
looking for decorative arts purveyors and..there is an ad for a pharmacy that sells something called Dr. Geoghegan's Extract of Hydropiper

Weird.
