I was watching the DVD set of The Flash and noticed a business sign right away in the episode that partially takes place in 1955. The sign read: Gay'n Frisky. I don't know why it amused me so much, but it did.

I liked the latter as well, but I'm actually talking about the 1999 series based on the DC comic. I hope they get around to putting out a boxed set of the Sci-Fi Flash Gordon remake. It was all kinds of fun.
