Today, both me and Frank noticed a new step forward. Melody grabs hold of things without anyone giving them to her. As I reported earlier, she could hold things for a long(ish) time without letting go. But someone had to give the things to her. Today, though, when I gave her a ring of plastic keys, she held them for a few seconds with her left hand ( Read more... )

Keep your fingers crossed for her

I am, I am! Though I know you all will be just fine :) Some kids, far from everyone, gets a slight fever after those vaccinations, so there is no need for alarm if that happens. Abit annoying of course but nothing to worry about :))) I learnt the hard way as no one told me beforehand...

Be sure to give her an Alvedon supp prior to the appt - the bvc always recommended this for when Alex got vaccinations. Alex didn't mind the appts too much, he cried for a second or two and then laughed at us or the dr.

I can't believe how similar Melody is to Alex development wise at Melody's age. =) Must be the great Borlänge vatten you drank whilst preggers. LOL

Yes, that's her new picture--the one in her American outfit. I have a couple more that I wish to use, but that's only if I log in to this journal, lol. I'll send the kiss, though I don't think you want her reply today. Maybe another day. :)

ps, the vaccination isn't until next week, but I hope the same.
