ok, first do you have a place to upload pictures online? If you don't go to photobucket and sign up. Upload pictures from your computer, and there will be a url address under these pictures. In livejournal, go to the rich text mode when you are updating your journal, and click the picture (its of something ugly... like a baby or something). A window will come up where you put the url address of your picture (from photobucket).

I'm sorry if you know some of this stuff. I assumed you didn't know anything. Hope it helps!
