I've finally caught up on all the new SGA and Heroes episodes... It did take some doing but I did it... while squeezing in Tin Man and various other things.

I wouldn't be surprised if the decision to move Torri's final ep into the second half of the season was part of a plan to open the door for her to come back for an episode here and there. TPTB, as in the network, must be freaking out about the response to her sacking. How could they not.

If her four eps were in the place they were intended to be, TMC would have been the last. We would have seen them packing up her stuff and that would be it. Dead Weir. The fact they've moved what would have been her third ep to the second half of the season is interesting.

I didn't know that. Yeah, I'm glad the backlash they got from her "sacking" made them rethink their entire strategy. There was a very vocal anti-Weir minority that they probably thought represented fandom.
They shouldn't have even tried to kill her in the first place. It was pretty dumb move to begin with.

I don't know if that's why they've done it, but it's weird that JM would insist she was only in the first half of the season, only to change that.

Flanigan said at the Burbank con that he didn't think enough noise had been made to warrant her coming back, and you could tell he wanted her to come back.

Of course his thunkers tell a different story. They think we were all suffering a mass delusion, or were perhaps misinterpreting what he said. Idiots.

I haven't been on GW or LJ much for weeks and I've only been on GW the past few days after watching the season 4 eps. That place is just chockful of spoilers. But it annoys me that some people are saying that S/W shippers are the only ones that care about Weir returning because of some silly ship agenda ( ... )
