A moment later, a floating paper lion makes its way through the air, as though it's running, until it lands on the table by her books. It closes the necessary distance between the empty bit of the table and her notes before it stops moving.

Remus looks up inquiringly. He glances from James to the note in his hands, then rolls his eyes and returns to his work.
James grabs his quill again and writes back.
The note returned to her is a slightly less complex origami figure; it's a small parchment-coloured sailboat this time.
