Dorcas/Moody have always been a couple in my fanon!world. I always have Dorcas in Hogwarts around the same time as Voldemort and Moody and McGonagall as friends so...it just kinda made sense.
I'm glad you think it's good. I'm not very proud of it. It feels a bit rushed. But...plot bunnies will be plot bunnies.

I liked this. I admire the risk you took making Moody part of a couple. He seems beyond that, a lonely man married to his work. But this works. I like the voice you give Dorcas. Moody's loss would have to be great to create the paranoia we see in the second war.

This was a brave work.

(I have to say I imagine Dorcas as a younger woman, but this works.)

I always thought something would've had to happen to Moody to make him so aloof and paranoid.
I always thought Dorcas was close to Voldemort's age, which is why he went after her himself.
