This was gorgeous.

Remus would have made a fine funeral director. I say this as a funeral director. His sensitivity and tact the gentle way in which he gives Arabella the freedom to mourn and grieve and acknowledges her own pain and loss is something that I always aspired to when I was working as a funeral director sometime ago.

I loved how you addressed something that isn't really addressed in canon. Just how is it that Dumbledore knows Ms. FIgg and that she should be a member of The Order when she is a Squib.

I definitely agree that Remus has enough tact and gentleness to comfort those left behind. I think he'd have been good, helping survivors of the war, but JK decided to kill him off so..

Arabella is one of my favorite minor characters. She needed a back story, I gave her one.
