I was looking through livejournal for those with Napalm Death as an interest because I am going to watch them tomorrow in Reading. I'm a little nercous as I have not been to a metal concert in years.

What kind of music does your partner's band play?

Napalm Death were good last night but only came on at 10pm... after three opening bands, the last of which almost completely obliterated my eardrums.

I have the day off today though, so all is well.

The band he's in in a Death Doom band, Indesinence. I think his proudest moment was playing the SWR Metalfest in Portugal and Napalm Death were there too.

Though everyone in the band has had a whole bunch of life changes happen, so on hiatus for the mo. He keeps up the guitar practice at home when he can. :)

I always take earplugs to gigs, my ears are too sensitive for the sheer volume. 3 opening bands? Taking the piss a little? 2, understandable, but 3's a bit much.
