I am pleased to report that my kitchen brownie has returned from vacation. In respect for tradition, I will offer no thanks for the meal that I turned out today, but I will say that it was exceedingly tasty, and that the return of the brownie was a joyful thing. I have a friend, mystiaunknown, who is a vegan all the time. She also happens to make the TASTIEST baked goods, evar. Drop into her blog sometime and I'm sure she'd be willing to share.

Her chocolate mousse icing is TO DIE FOR.

How on earth do you manage a vegan mousse? I mean...wow.

The chocolate cheesecake turned out quite well. It's not cheesecake, but it's chocolate and dessert-like and quite yummy all on it's own.

A friend is going vegan for health reasons, so I'm experimenting.

It's not cheesecake, but it is quite nice chocolate pie.
