In the fourth chapter of Our Journey to Lesbian Motherhood, by Higashi Koyuki, Masuhara Hiroko, and Sugiyama Emiko, the characters do some research into sperm banks.
This is both entertaining and educational. These are things I was vaguely aware of but really don't know anything about.
And I just noticed on Kinokuniya that these authors have what look like a couple of related books out too. Do you know if they're "prequels" to this? I'd like to support them (even if I can actually understand the books).

Lesbian-teki Kekkon Seikatsu is about their lives before this, yes. Futari no Mama Kara Kimi-tachi e is similar in content to Our Journey to Lesbian Motherhood but is all text rather than being a manga. The language used is simple, but without pictures to go by, you might be rather lost if you don't know any Japanese.

Glad I could help! I am considering translating the others after this one, depending on how things go. I picked this one first because the subject matter was of the most interest to me and the graphics editing was the most doable for me.
