First, I loved every single bit of this. Seriously you outdid yourself Alice. I especially appreciated how in character you kept Audrey and Nathan. Really them without the Skiffy filters. ;) And the plot was them. Not them solving a mystery, as fun as that is, but just them interacting and being wonderful and kissing and touching like they should be doing on the show. Did I mention I love this story?

Oh good, I was pleased with my Audrey voice, but I was super worried about Nathan. He's not normally so talkative and very reserved so I had to hope that readers would just take the leap of faith that living with Audrey had opened him up a bit.

I'm so glad you like it! The end just about killed me and I had to post it before I started pulling out my hair.

LOVE. I don't read a lot of established ship fic (I'm more of a 'getting them together' kind of girl), but this was wonderful. I'm enjoying this show so much (I just discovered it - in season 1 now).

Yeah, I didn't want him to be pouty or upset because it's not like Audrey ever owes him sex.

So instead of getting in a funk, he BREWED HER TEA and if he so happened to take her clothes, it's only because he was already doing a load of whites!! (Nathan does the laundry in the house, Audrey does dishes and neither of them cook very well)

I don't think I've ever read such a good established relationship fic in any fandom. It's difficult with Nathan/Audrey because while I think the potential is definitely (obviously, absolutely) there, there isn't a whole lot to go on in terms of their dynamic romantically. I always kind of imagined domestic life with them would be kind of like their work life - a lot of teasing, general happiness, and quiet companionship. This is retains a lot of those elements (I loved the tea part!), but gives Nathan another dimension as an almost desperate (but in the good way) lover, and I kind of fell in love with him haha. He's doting, but not pathetically, and Audrey shares his passion. I loved the "Fuck, I needed you". That scene was wonderful, but that line totally made it. I think he really would need her. Love, love this. <3
