I almost chose Narcissa for his favorite cousin, but I have a feeling that he, like Sirius, would favor cousin Andromeda, even if only because she was Sirius's favorite.

I also see Regulus as a mini-Sirius with piercing green eyes. I have no idea why.

Yeah I have an image of Andromeda as the "cool cousin," but since she would've already graduated by the time Regulus attend Hogwarts (and Sirius is in Gryffindor), Narcissa would be the one looking after him.

I like the parallel between Draco and Regulus so sometimes I imagine him as blond :-D

Narcissa would definitely been my second choice for Regulus. I think he probably claimed her as his favorite, but secretly his favorite wass Andromeda.

I've never really thought of a parallel between Draco and Regulus. HBP really brings that out, doesn't it?

Yep, except that I don't want Draco to die in the end, obviously. But who knows! Regulus might actually be alive in DH >=D
But then he dies sacrificing himself :-(, and through some complicated Black familial magic Sirius comes back through the veil as an Inferi. And Sirius, Remus and Tonks all live happily ever after in a menage a trois.

Ever since I even thought about Regulus, I've always seen him as looking totally different to Sirius, but also with GREEN EYES. weird!
I don't really think Reggie was actually a bigot, he just never disagreeed with his folks, plus Sirius leaving gave him more pressure.
Narcissa, being the youngest was probably his fave cousin because Bella's just evil and Andromeda's a bit too cool for him. Hee hee

...although I do wonder what kind of person would name her daughter Nymphadora :-P
