Am enjoying this story, the part where Joyce and Dawn walk in on her and Spike was hilarious. Glad that Buffy kept Angel and Spike protecting his new family is true to his character. Love it!

He was a man, a vampire, but still a man. She surprised herself realizing that she liked the man, she just wasn’t sure if she loved him
Locks snapped in his brain and he knew looking at her, she was blood, clan, claimed. No harm would come to her, for as long as he existed.
great lines ... they summed up a lot of what has been bubbling for the last few chpaters

I loved the Joyce and Spike interaction ... is there anyone left who hasn't figured out that Spike is no longer a pet? I love the fact that both Dawn and Joyce took it in their stride and trust him ... and I'm waiting for the Buffy/Spike/Angel relationship to get more complicated ... it can't go so swimmingly for long :o)
