It's been threatening it for weeks now (we normally get a good snowfall in November, but just had the bitter temperatures, ice and roaring wind this time round. The hysterics went as expected. I ended the night slightly dehydrated but feeling suitably festive (with bonus 'actually getting my xmas cards posted on time - for once' points).

Alas, no snow men (we said no, man - ho ho) but your suggestion of snow angels was quite definitely explored!

Then, of course, it rained solidly for a day. Still, it was nice while it lasted.
