To the four of you that are actually gonna read this:
My apologies for how horrible the formating is. And, also, for all the spelling and grammar errors. This was so big that LJ wouldn't accept it and ate it a couple of times. I wound up having to cut things. These are all "rough drafts" and are always going to be loose. But, because of the size issue, I accidently posted the version that did not correct the grammatical errors and repeated phrases etc. Normally, I'd just go in and fix things. But, Live Journal will not let me edit this any further, unless I destroy the whole post and reconstruct it. And, ya know, despite loving you all as I do, that's just not going to happen. This undoubtedly makes it tougher and less fun to read. Hope you enjoy it anyway.
Darling, if you did anything more than skim, I'd be deeply worried.
Thanks for skimming it though.
Yeah, so Saturn classically isn't what people today think it is. We always emphasise the darker properties of "Sterility" and "restriction". But, the other side is fertility and mindful cultivation. Saturn in the olden days was the epitome of the self made man and good management. See Gudea of Lagash. He's like the proto-solomon.
And, these aspects are what is essential for the symbolism of all Abrahamic faiths. Part, but certainly not all, of Yaweh's drunk dad routine is predicated on 'I did the math and saved you all myself". Meanwhile, the Journey of 40 years, was on a route that would someone about a week to casually walk. So, it's kind of an unintentional joke about the redneck nature of ze root religion too.
Thank you, for your kind comments.lilchivaOctober 11 2017, 21:05:49 UTC
It really is quite mind blowing when you put all together. But, I'm not quite done yet. We have 1-3 more parts to do depending on length and interest. These are getting quite big.
Consider this comment foreshadowing. I think you might like the next one most. Well, you will as long as it's clear enough that you can follow it and as long as I don't drive ole Greased Lightning off a cliff.
It must be. Just go look up anyone's definition of the word "magic". It fits. We are creatures with 100%-wall-to-wall-hallucinations baked into our very crumpet of being. And, we have somehow managed to hoof it to outer-motherfucking-space. We did that by projecting our imaginary mind powers onto a world that is physically impossible for us to have any accurate perception of whatsoever. If you don't find to be totally supernatural, then, bless you're heart, you must not understand what that word actually means.

My apology.

Deeply interesting: Usury and compound interest have existed since before the written word..
I don't recall ever having seen that explicated!
Your description of Saturn's properties is significantly different from the ways I used to think about Saturn back in my hippie astrologer days.
