The problem with sleeping with related humans, Cas has found, is that they are touchy about sleeping with each other, which Cas guesses he understands. That's a lie. He tried asking them once and made the case that they were biologically incompatible and the taboo of incest was the production of unsuitable offspring. It didn't end well.

So Cas has a few options. He can pick one of them (which in reality isn't actually an option), he can pick neither of them (less of an option), or he can keep sharing them, though that is becoming increasingly irritating. Despite how much he cares for them, they are, essentially, petty and jealous. It is starting to give him headaches.

It's over dinner that Cas finally gets fed up. He's sitting next to Sam tonight and Dean has been playing something he calls 'footsie' with him the whole time while Sam has been passive aggressively sighing at his salad for 10 minutes.
