"Did you like the chocolates?" he asks in the same tone as, 'Are you ready to break the next seal?'

Deanna just stares at him. "Cas. You left them. In the car."

"…It is where you spend most of your time."

She bonks herself lightly on the forehead with the heel of her hand. "Yeah, dummy," she says (in a moderately affectionate tone), "but we're parked at a motel, meaning the motel room is where we are going to stay most of the time." She swirls a finger in the chocolate, bringing it up coated in chocolate (and a small swirl of caramel). "That way it doesn't melt into a glob."
