I don't expect the effect to start happening immediately, but I truly believe that the next four years he's in office will help this country and its people from the depression--both figuratively and literally--that we have found ourselves in.

He has a mess of a country leftover from Bush, and I'm confident Obama is the right person to help us pick up the pieces.

I'm so glad this is the first election I was able (and did) vote in because it's this feeling and remembering it that will keep me voting in the years to come. :D
