My tablet broke which sucks, so I thought I'd kill some time with a few icons.

I recently watched the Terminator series. Oh, where have you been all my life, awesome and well known film series?! Well mostly the Cameron films. 'Specially Judgment Day, which made me cry like the girl I am. It also happens that I believe Sarah and John Connor, plus their new cyborg bodyguard, are a wonderful little dysfunctional family. A potential sitcom came to life in my deranged head as I watched the film.

John: awesome, my very own Terminator! Thanks mom, it's everything a 10 year old juvenile delinquent could ask for!
Sarah: MACHINES ARE GOING TO KILL US ALL.
John: awesome. But mom, he's like the dad i never had. I mean, besides the one who hasn't been born yet. Man, I have issues.
Sarah: I guess you need a new father figure in your life, and I see nothing more appropriate than an exact replica of your father's murderer.
John: Hooray. c'mon dad, lets go blow crap up!
Uncle Bob: kay.

I thought the relationship between John and the Terminator was so touching, it's what drew me into the film most of all, besides Sarah Connor being all kickass and crazy, and the T-1000 being a successful creeper. Generally, I am pulled in by character development, and damn my narrow-mindedness, I was not expecting such a thing in the Terminator franchise. Well I should have known better and I'm glad I gave it a chance!

Maybe I'll hunt down the Sarah Connor Chronicles, although I'm quite sad Uncle Bob won't be in it...yes, I am entirely missing the point of the film! But still! I love you, Uncle Bob.

In conclusion:I would like my own Arnie Terminator to blow crap up with.
