Isn't it tho. I mean it was the very first words uttered out of his mouth. I asked like all my teachers and friends and it was surprising how many people had no clue. 63 years ago....crazy.
Mr. Lipe is such a great teacher he all brought up the idea again about how FDR had info but maybe sat on it so that it would be a defensive war.... and tied it in to Iraq now and how we did the preemptive(sp?) strike and how people feel about it.

yes it is facinating mos def, but that has nothing to do with ur craziness. to continue with FDR's speech just a couple paragraphs later... Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleagues delivered to the Secretary of State a formal reply to a recent American message. While this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or armed attack.
