[ Cooro isn't a boy to mind the rain or lightning. He only cares that it's bad flying weather, and bad planting weather, so all he can do today is explore. What he's exploring, of course, is where the River might go. Does it go on forever? Does it stop at the barrier? He's curious, and without Husky or Nana to keep him in line, he's wandered out of

[San is going around today with her mask and hood on. In theory, it's to keep the rain off of her, though the hood being made of fur can't possibly be doing much good. And at every lightning strike, she flinches and turns her head. But eventually she will catch up to Cooro]

[ And he won't notice her until he sees her. He can't hear her coming very well and he's a bit startled. ]

San?

[another flash, and San visibly reacts, lowering her head for a few seconds. Then the mask's eyes are fixed on Cooro]

What are you doing?

[ He looks back down at the ground. ]

Following the River.

[ And wandering forever and eternally oblivious to silly things like "weather" is Grune, who happens to hear Cooro singing. ]

What a pretty song...

[ He doesn't quite hear her, but he knows someone's there and turns towards the presence, smiling at her. ]

Hmm?

[Ginko minds the weather, and his grumbling might announce his presence-- but he's out in it all the same, working out in slow circles from the Light Vein.

He hears Cooro's song, and comes closer. Solemnly, but with a smile in his voice--]

[ He looks up. Ginko is one of those people he can kind of feel, so whether or not he could really tell what he said, he know he heard something and feels someone, and that's enough to pull him back from watching the ground and the light only a few can see. ]

Hi Ginko!

Yo.

[he steps a little closer-- sharp as his intuition is, there is no sign yet that gives him pause]

You shouldn't stare to long at the light, Cooro.

If you do-- your eyes will forget how to see normal sunlight.

[ The boy ruffles clearly, straightening up and looking at him. ]

That'd be pretty bad. Is it because it's so bright?
