Two questions

1) WTF is "fat-free half & half"? Seriously, WTF?

2) Has anyone ever in their entire lives had Liquid Plumber (or equivalent) actually clear a drain? I haven't, so I'm wondering if anyone else has actually witnessed it.

I haven't had acid-type drain cleaners be terribly effective, either. Plumbers warn off them. They're acids and as such they eat your pipes. Better to snake it.

Fat free half and half consists primarily of corn syrup and milk solids. You can find varying proportions of it in various boxen of said product.

I've been using it for a while, mostly to see what happened, as part of this somewhat nutritious breakfast, which usually has iced coffee made up of 1/5 half and half, the rest coffee. Not sure if I have a conclusion yet.

We've had Drano clean drains effectively -- bathroom sink and tub drains. But water always flowed, when it got slow we'd follow the directions (1/5 of the bottle, wait 15 minutes, flush with hot water), and that works.

I can't imagine it working on fully clogged drains, though, because how does it get to the clog? These clogs happened every few months in our old place, so very likely there was something clogging it part of the way, hair and gunk would build up from normal showers, and the Drano would work on 1/2 the clog, not all of it, hence it kept recurring.
