Tonight I went to a seminar at my gym called "Weights for Weight Loss." While it was highly entertaining (the personal trainer that gave it is a hoot), I didn't really learn anything I didn't already know. I've always and always found nut butter to be my rock when I'm having trouble getting in enough protein or calories. I'm not vegetarian, but my diet is complicated enough and my metabolism high enough that there are days I just can't cook as much as I'd need to that eating huge spoonfuls of nut butter (usually with an apple or pear, or with coconut and honey) really helps keep my need for fats and/or protein in check.
