Also, where did Tor come from? Did he sneak up behind Leonard as he was watching Settle or was he pretending to be Settle? Also where is Settle if he was in the room?
All your questions will be answered as soon as I can finish ch. 10, which hopefully won't take too long, since I'm practically sitting on the edge of my own seat waiting to see how this all ends. As for Tor, what you think he did, I think is what he's trying to do. Will he succeed, though, that is the question!!

Damnit! I knew I despised, loathed, and absolutely hated Tor for a reason! Bastard! What the hell did he do to Leonard? And where the hell are Spock and Jim?
I mean, obviously the guy has no compassion or concern for anything if he is willing to sacrifice a whole entire race for profit and that, more than anything, scares me for Len.
I keep telling myself that the three of them knew what they were doing, that there's just no way that Spock and Jim would leave Len defenseless, but that was a horrible place to leave off. Evol, I tell you!

Well, I'm absolutely thrilled that I inspired the beginning of this part because it was hot, hot, hot! And, perfect! Just the way that I see them together and a good start to their life together.
Ha, would've been an awesome start to their lives together, but then I have to go and throw another wrench in the machine. What can I say; I'm a sadist and a masochist, a sadist cuz everything I write causes the boys pain and a masochist cuz it hurts me to do it, but I just can't seem to stop myself.
