Why so? Because I fail to see a huge tragedy in LJ being down. Even though I have posted stuff like fanfiction and essays here. Seriously. I've never been too keen a blogger; I suppose that's the reason.

Still, I hope LJ stays. :)

I think the concern isn't so much about LJ being down as it is about LJ being down permanently, in whch case people will lose the content they've generated. I think that's a pretty legitimate concern, actually. It would be a shame if someone lost all their fanfiction, for example, because the person relied on LJ as their archive. A lot of people keep their content on LJ instead of on their harddrive too. *shrugs*

Oh, I do agree it's legitimate to be worried about that. I was only writing about myself. :)

That. :( The users will probably recover pretty quickly even if it gets worse, but to think of wasting all the work put into this project...

I miss corporal punishment, TBH.

You're right. Well, as I've said, I probably care less than most because I've never been that big on blogging. In fact, if you remember, I started out hating LJ! *chuckles* Though now I admit it's a pretty convenient thing. :)
