Interesting idea (basically, if there are people who can create illusions in KHR, why not have some people manipulate shadows? :D). Making this person a mastermind in the background also works very well.

Considering her status, it might require for the entire Vongola Guardian and company to respect her overall, in time at least for her to take her place. :/ If anything, I bet that this girl is a thinking person (since Tsuna is an intuitive, he probably needs a concrete-type girl to balance that out). She's most likely going to be exceptionally strategic (possibly even more so than Gokudera), mastermind-like, and no-nonsense, which is not quite encouraged in the Japanese culture (yet it's necessary for this type of job you're describing)...ah, well, my two cents. ^^;;
