Day 16, evening
As usual, the castle had almost gone to pieces in his absence. He had spent the whole day rushing about the place, trying to catch up on all of the jobs that nobody else could do right. The conservatory had been a pleasant surprise, at least; it seemed that some kind-hearted soul had taken care of his roses. The gardens had also been tended in spite of the usual gardener's absence. His double had taken it upon himself to deal with some of the paperwork. Irrespective of his dislike of the man, Gunter knew that he would have to grit his teeth and thank the intruding stranger when next they spoke.
At last it seemed that thing were returning to some sense of normalcy within the castle's walls. Perhaps he could
find Gwendal, and then have
something to eat.
[OOC: Gunter will be having some delightfully tainted food! The results of that can take place here.]
