Wednesday December 28th, Grocery store around 3:00 pm

Neha hummed as she wandered the aisles of the grocery store.  Her father was in the next door hardware store and would be loading the groceries in the car.  She'd then be free to explore as she wanted.  Her mother had asked her to get the groceries first, since she was still having a bit of trouble with money conversions.

Okita had stopped by the grocery store to grab a few things that were running out at home. She had the twins with her, each holding on to the metal bar of the shopping cart. As they saw sweets they were quick to grab them and put them in the cart. Okita took out the items ignoring the twins' objections and placing them back where they were.

Reaching the vegetable and fruit aisle, she ignored the whines of her sisters as they crossed their arms. She was use to it and the grocery was a bit empty for it to annoy any one else. Grabbing a plastic bag she started to put tomatoes in them when she heard a loud noise and turned to see a young girl knocked over by a stack of potatoes.

Gasping, she put her bag of tomatoes onto her cart turn to the girls. "Stay here." As she walked over to the girl, the twins followed either way talking to each other animatedly about the scene that just occurred.

"Are you okay?" Okita said extending out her hand to Neha.

Neha looked up and gave Okita a sheepish grin. "I seem to have lost the battle with the potato bag!" she said with cheerful humor, amusement lighting up her eyes as she took the offered hand and got back to her feet.

"Mummy said she wanted a lot of potatoes...and well...the bag is a lot of potatoes....but I think it's too heavy for me." She spoke with an Indian accent, but she was easily understandable despite the accent and it was obvious that she had the type of humor where she could laugh at her own mistakes and foolishness.

"I am Neha Kapoor...sorry for the odd introduction." she said.

The twins giggled loudly at Neha's joke.

Pulling Neha up Okita gave her a sad smile due to the mention of mother but amused at Neha's sense of humor. Hearing the twin’s giggles she looked behind her, not surprised by their appearance and placed a finger on her lips she let out a soft "shh, shh" sound.

Turning back to Neha she said kindly. "Need some help, I'm use to carrying them when they get too lazy to walk, so a stack of potatoes shouldn't be a problem."

When Neha introduced herself, Okita was surprised but was kind nodding her head. She reminded her of how open Amanda was when she first met her.

"It's okay. I'm Okita Williams and this is Varu." She said referring to the chubbier twin with shorter hair and tomboyish clothes. Varu waved excitedly.

"And Varuna." She said referring to the twins with longer hair in pigtails with long dress and boots, she bit her lip timidly and waved shyly at Neha. She remembered Neha but Varuna was not sure when, her memory capacity did not allow her to remember.

Neha smiled a bright and cheerful smile at the twins and Okita. "Nice to meet you." she said as she looked at the bag. "And I would love some help getting this bag into that cart."

She pointed at the cart to show which one, though there was really only one to put it in. "I'll grab one end, you grab the other? It'll be easier that way."
