yes it was such a great time i left october 05 went to south africa for 3 weeks, australia for 3 months, new zealand for 10 weeks, fiji for 2 weeks and then the west coast of us and canada got back june 06 and i still miss backpacking i really reccomend it it's so freeing and makes you more independant.
And me and children do not go at all i'm going to spend the money i'd spend on a child on great holidays lol
