Friends Only

This journal is Friends Only.

I used to be open about who I let in, but at this point I probably will not let anyone else read. The reason being is that one of my deceased husband's family posed as a widow from my husband's hometown in order to read my journal. He was trying to find information to try to make his whole family hate me and is ( Read more... )

Mind if I add you? I really enjoyed what you had to say in the childfree community. :)

I'm curious as to what your icons are from.
(I won't be offended if you don't add me as we don't seem to have much in common and --as Stuart Smalley would say-- that's okay!)

LOL! I get most of my icons either from scrubs_icons or imnosuperman. If you're speaking of the pic I have on my F.O. banner, I found the pic on the net somewhere.

Your journal made me laugh. Do you mind if I friend you? (although I'm a meatatarian I have some vegan/veggie friends also - our understanding is that if I don't knock their lifestyle they don't knock mine.)

Ha ha, we both have those weather pixies so maybe there's something more in common there!
I've seen you post on houston_tx with the pancake licking guy and it so disturbed and intrigued me. I don't watch Scrubs, I'm more of an HBO drama obsessive and I can't work another show into my viewing schedule.
I want to make it out to the comedy improv at some point.
Can I bring my kids?

(That was a joke.)
(Because I'm taking them to an R-rating movie later....)
(Joke again!)

The pancake licking guy is Zach Braff from Scrubs. It was a scene from a show a few weeks ago and when I saw the icon I just had to grab it. Something about Zach and licking...

*ahem*

I can understand not having time for other shows. I have the Improv company, work full time, and go to school. All I can say is thank god for TiVo.

Well, yes we cater to the ages of the audience. Typically if there's no kids we might be a bit more racy, but if there are kids we're more tame. We have performed for the Girl Scouts of America a couple of times and tonight we're having a church group (don't know the ages) come to the show.

I just had to stop by and tell you that that icon is so great. It's always good to see a fellow liker of Scrubs and now I know they have their own community.

Hi there! Thanks!

There's a lot of Scrubs communities. For this moment Scrubs is my obsession (they change ever 6 months to a year for me). It's just so intelligently written and amazing.

I'd like to know more about the Improvaoke! I can be reached at adelyne14@yahoo.com. I run a Yahoo Group for local artists and fans of the Houston art scene. If you're interested, I'll be happy to send you an invite.

Hi there. Sorry it's so long to get back to you.

What would you like to know about the show? In general we do improv games like Who's Line is it Anyway? but we have the audience pick what games we do and they can come up with the troupe and play them also if they'd like to. We don't require the audience to come up but they have the choice instead of only sitting and watching.

I'd love an invite to your group. Sounds like a great group.
