Bank accounts

So I have overdrawn my bank account by $1.49, now I ask how is that possible? What about the empty promises about no hidden fees for your 'free' checking account? What a mess...I have a savings account that since I did not update the entire month of August. Now since I did not do that, they take $5.00 out of my checking account. ughhh Bank accounts
