Now to Amelia. First let me say THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION, I don't expect to convince anyone or for anyone to share it. I kind of see why Sam gravitates toward Amelia. In season one and in this season, Dean has been on Sam's case for dropping his responsibility to the world by not hunting. When Sam first met Amelia she got on his case for not taking responsibility for the dog. Dean consistently calls Sam a freak. Amelia starts by calling Sam creepy. Dean dismisses Sam's ambitions for a normal life. Amelia dismisses Sam for not having a normal life. Dean dings Sam for the way he eats. Amelia dings Sam for the clothes he wears. John made Sam feel that he was inadequate because he didn't live up to what John wanted him to be. Amelia is acting like Sam is inadequate because he is not what she expects from a normal person. Dean is damaged because he has lost so many people he loved. Amelia is damaged because she has lost an unnamed person. All of the less than positive things I said about Dean are mitigated by the fact that Dean does love ( ... )

Ooooh, that is a wonderful insight! I didn't saw it like that, but it does makes sense!

Even if the idea of Amelia being like Dean makes me cringe, I do see what you mean by that.

Thank you for reading my article sweetie!

Hi,

Just stop by to read your post. I basically agree with everything you said about Dean. I am bi-bro but I am really disappointed with the direction that the writers take on telling Sam's story this year. Where's the guy who 'couldn't let my brother alone out there' during S6 finale? How come we get from that Sam to this OOC Sam? I just can't draw the line.

It seems the writers also create Amelia as an unsympathetic character just cause. Still don't like her. Are they trying to say that Sam's drawn to the bossy angry lady because she has Dean's temperament? Dean's bossy-ness?

He can’t be alone with himself, apparently it doesn’t matter if it’s Dean or someone else, but he clearly needs an anchor. If Sam just need anchor when he's alone then he can just switch that anchor back to Dean once he comes back. After all they have a lifetime history together, been saving each other's life. Compared to a last year girl that's practically stranger, Amelia has nothing compared to Dean. Even we, the fans can see it, Sam's just too blind ( ... )

Oh, honey, I'm willing to bet a lot of money, trust me!

The guy who "couldn't leave his brother out there" needed his brother to face the crazy he was about to take in his head. the guy who did leave his brother out there came back to him because if only thought he would be temporary, and then back to the fruit shopping *sigh*

I don't get this Sam. he makes me sad but I'm willing to give the writers the freaking benefit of the doubt before I start throwing stones at them.

I cannot WAIT for next week! Dean's angry and outraged shout is too good to be true, FINALLY, the man is going to aknowledge his agony to the world!

Thank you for reading the review sweetheart, big love <3

Oh, I remember well. But Dean was far more hurt than pissed during that time, the amulet-throwing is an arc that signed the end of something for them ( ... )

I have a feeling all this built up tension between the two brothers will be addressed very soon, and it will be awesome to watch, as it always is.

One thing I still want to know though is what exactly Benny did to gain Dean's loyalty? I mean we know he defended Castiel and Dean, but the kind of devotion Dean is showing him speaks of something more to me. Maybe there's another time he saved Dean's hide that we haven't yet seen.

I think so too! Dean doesn't get protective over a stranger, especially a supernatural stranger like that over nothing, and I cannot wait to see how deep their trust goes or not. I'm pretty excited about the whole purgatory plot! ^^

Hey can I ask you something? I can't see the comments on your page, or any other LJ page display like yours. Its awfulbecause Spn-storyfinders is useless to me now, but I was wondering, do you know how to fix it? Maybe it's my browser firefox but I tried evrything and still nothing worked!
