So I dream of writing my memoir. I see some authors who do nothing but memoir: that's their genre, not just one title and you're done. I write little bits. But mainly I write to my friends these days, or to anyone who wants to write back. Remember Mr. Va Jay Jay? Thank you for writing back. I definitely place you in the "responsible citizen" camp, so especially, thanks for reading and for letting me see into your life in kind. I wish I knew what kind of questions I could ask VJJ that would produce dialogue that was very meaningful to both of us. Maybe I should ask him if he blogs?

What you might see as awkward and shallow might be him tapping around blindly to find his depth.

Yes, ask if he blogs. People can be quite amazing when you look inside them.
