Computer screens are strange - on my own computer, i could not for the life of me read your Venn Diagram; here at work, i can. unless you photoshopped it or something between then and now. i hope the House of No Pants has that as one of its icons.
Re. the gym: i want to go! but it occured to me that the only gym-appropriate shoes i have have some holes in them and so the question is, do they care? i know sometimes gyms can get hinkty about footwear for fear of germs spreading or whatever other reason. For now, let's say we'll meet at 7 (in the entry lobby? my memory of last night is hazy) anyway and let 'em throw me out if they don't like my sadass little sneakers.
I was thinking about their shoe policy last night and whether to tell you and have you stress about it. The NAC has a rule that you must wear clean sneakers, so you don't bring in dirt from outside. I have a pair of sneakers just for wearing in the gym, but figured you probably didn't. No one I've noticed has ever seemed to be paying much attention to anyone else's footwear. I'd say, don't worry about it, and wear what you have. We're meeting not in the lobby (there isn't much of one and you'd feel like you were in a fishbowl if you did) but outside on the benches in front of the fire department next door. At 7. See you then!
