Chloe was tired. Hell, she was beyond tired. She was freaking exhausted and she knew that she wasn't going to get much sleep for quite awhile. It was hard to sleep when you and your three best friends were on the run from a crazy house and you were certain they had killed your aunt and were holding another friend hostage. However, she needed to make sure that someone outside of the four of them knew what was going down and there were exactly four people she trusted with this information. One was unreachable, one was the closest thing she'd had to a father since she was forced to run from hers, one was a very feisty and powerful witch that would be riled up and probably drop some buildings on heads if she knew what was happening. The fourth was the person she was calling now.
If the call went to voicemail, she might very well just cry.

"Hey, Chlo," she greeted, the television stopping on a channel as she stopped playing with the remote. "What's up?"
Oh, she had no idea what she was getting into with that seemingly innocuous question.
