Today is the release date of Chimera, Rob Thurman's new scifi/action/thriller. To celebrate Rob's release week, I'm making you an offer you (hopefully) can't refuse. Did Rob Thurman put you up to this, because she's been on me for a while to write a sequel to my WWII fic Pegasus Devise. So, I'll give you a choice... you can wait a bit (probably a couple of months) while I write the longer story that will involve a lot of research on the the battle of Stalingrad (and a certain Russian operative Toddinski) or I can do a quick little missing scene from the original fic.

Oh, and hope you enjoy the book! (much more than a McKelSey threesome. *G*)

Hi, just got the LAST available copy of Chimera at Amazon(phew)Receipt number 10549373973097831. It sounds great and I'm really looking forward to reading it. And I would really *really* love you to write a Star Trek reboot gen fic for me if you can please? I only watched the movie recently, and then found and immediately fell in love with Starting Gate (which I left a comment on as well)
I'd really enjoy one of your hurt/comfort fics, possibly a transporter malfunction preventing return to Enterprise or landing them somewhere unexpected and dangerous, where Kirk is hurt and Spock and maybe Uhura have to protect/care for him until they're found. But not that much hurt that Kirk is incapable of speaking 'cos your dialogue is always spot on with lovely touches of humor. I also love your Bones voice, so can you chuck him in as well please? Well that's my wish list lol, but honestly? I'd be happy to read anything at all from you in way of Star Trek hurt comfort. Hope I'm not being too demaning, Thanks so much, Ellen

Star Trek...hmmmm. Guess this is a good excuse to go back and rewatch the movie. *G* Months and months ago I had thought of an idea for story with Bones and Spock trapped together, guess I could throw in a whumped Kirk, too. I'll have to ponder this one for a bit.

And really hope you enjoy Chimera!

I just ordered my Copy of Chimera on the German Amazon version, can´t write to read it.
I´d like a McShep story, where McKay dumps Keller and turns to John. Or a gen version where McKay realized he cares more about John than about Keller.
I realy couldn´t stand all this McKeller in season 5, especialy with those sad looks John kept sending their way.

Well, I'm always up for a McShep story, but I'll have to come up with a way to do your request since I don't want to do one too similar to a fic I already did called Cold Feet (on my master fic list under stand alone slash if you haven't read it yet). And as much as I didn't like the McKeller in season 5, I also don't like to character bash, but I can probably come up with something to fit the bill.

And enjoy Chimera when it arrives!

Oh don´t get me wrong, I don´t hate Keller and just didn´t like her with McKay. I´m sure I will love whatever you write, always did so far.
And I´m realy looking forward to Chimera.
