You unmade me with this fic. It's gorgeous, true to the movie, and a missing scene I most *definitely* wanted to see. You've always stunned me with your ability to immerse yourself in period fics...in their language, in their actions, in their thoughts. You blew me away with the WWII fic, The Pegasus Device. Just flat out blew me away. And with this one I only wish it was about 60 pages longer. It's a brilliant present. Thanks so so much....now kill off Mary. :)
