Sorry I’m so late with this, but RL kicked my ass when I got home and I’ve just now had a chance to get to it. By now you’ve all probably read the other con report or watched the videos of the panels posted everywhere, so I’ll just post some photos and a few pertinent memories/info that I picked up from the various panels, etc, and personal

Joe was much more talkative this year. Last year they were all so reserved, I really think they were all convinced the show was being canceled. But everyone was much more upbeat this year and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a season 6.

Oh darn, if I had found you earlier, I would have told you about the Continuum screening, and that it was a big deal. It took me a while to get the passes (I'm not lucky), but a friend is, so win. Also, they gave out a lot of passes, and those that arrived and got into the line late did not make it in. We headed over an hour early and I was afraid we were too far back

I talked to someone last year who went to the autograph signing and they said they ushered people by so fast the actors didn't even look up so I just skipped it. I wish they'd been giving the t-shirts away at other times. Every time I went by the booth they were giving away the stargate worlds tshirts... I ended up with 5 of those. And when I went up to the wormhole thing I was having to ask what it was for. The Jaffa chick finally said, oh, passes for the Continuum screening. That's all she said. Didn't mention a thing about the Midway or the actors being there. I would have let them put the tattoo on me for those, although we went to see 300 last year at Petco Park and nearly froze to death so we definitely weren't prepared for sitting outside at night. I saw SG1 action figures being given away at one point but eventually just gave up on going by the booth since it was always so crowded and chaotic

I'm a huge RDA fan and love reading all the different tidbits so I'm really glad you posted!

He truly was the highlight of the SG1 panel. But I have to admit that I've come to the conclusion that he doesn't really act because he is exactly like Jack O'Neill in person. *G* But it also reminded me of what I'd been missing from SG1 these last couple of years.

Oh so jealous! Thanks for sharing. Second-hand squee is fabulous! Don't know if you saw at the con, but Gareth was wearing fairy wings at some point. The cuteness kills me.

Ha! No, I hadn't seen those photos... although I got two sets of those Tinkerbell wings for my five year old daughter from the Disney booth. *G* I really didn't care too much for Ianto in season one (I think the whimpering in the Lisa ep did me in... I just wanted to shoot him to put him out of all our misery) but I adored him in Season 2. And John Barrowman told about how they have a little joke where they will be on set and out of the blue John will say, hey, who's that? (and he did it just like he was talking to a dog... hey, what's that, boy?) And Gareth goes all doey eyed and whimpers, Lisa? *G* Also, in his casual clothes, Gareth really is a cutie.

I'd always had a bit of fondness for the teaboy, but S2 Ianto pwns S1 Ianto. And, *ahem*, a tinsy tiny bit of a thing for Gareth (where I mention the casual clothes thing as well!). He reads Ianto fanfic, what's not to love?
