Ahhh I love them both! And I hear you on not wanting it to be voted on, just in case another perspective makes you disillusioned. ;)

The text is fabulous, though. That is my hardest challenge when making icons, as you will see below...

Yeah, something like that. Kinda like, ohhh, I'm actually digging that icon, I don't want anyone else to talk me out of that and point out the flaws. XD

And hah. I hate text, and it hates me right back. 9 out of 10 cases, I through the towel and just not add any even though I have an idea or it sorta fits.

I like it better than the one you submitted too but I also totally get why you didn't wanted it to be voted on!

Oh wow, these are really cool. I adore the cropping on the first one. It takes a minute to place the scene but it is very interesting! And the Meg-in-the-Devil's-Trap one is my favorite! :)

I'm snagging the third alternate you made because i love the extreme negative space and what you did with the textures! Ot's amazing!
I also like the textplacement on the other one and that it has a bit more contrast!

your icons are always very aesthetically pleasing. I utterly adore the last alternate, the text blends in so well
